Checking out Reg's performance on Palin haters' show and notice he's holding something large and says her new "album".

I'm being serious here... do they still make "albums" or was that child molester just yanking an idiot crackers' chain.

In an effort to assuage his guilt over abusing that great American (and fairly decent Alaskan) Sarah Palin has Letterman gone retro?
Will he carry his albums and 8-tracks to an anti-abortion rally wearing a black power fisted pick in his toupe'?
There are no stupid questions !! Wink

Thanks for the info and that blows me away... the only turntables I see are at, like, Bed, Bath and Beyond... where would you go to replace the needle? They used to cost more than my Zenith home stereo system (Devo on 8-track... why did they allow my generation to breed?).

Please do not buy a cartridge or stylus or anything relating to record-playing at radio shack.

You don't have to spend a ton of money, but get something entry-level from a reasonable brand like Grado or Ortofon so that you don't ruin your Regina vinyls in one or two plays.

For a good, affordable turntable I recommend the Rega Planar series. You can pick up a Rega P1 with an Ortofon cartridge for under $400 brand new: http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=REP1

If you can spend a little more than the P3-24 is a great table you can combine it with the Grado Statement Series Platinum cartridge for around $1000.
