What musical instrument do you think sounds the prettiest?
Drums? Cello? Violin? Acoustic Guitar? Piano? Any instrument you think sounds the most beautiful........ post your opinion on it! It can be anything...... even the triangle thing that dings! Piano, Defiantly the most beautiful instrument ever.
Second comes Violin/Cello. I love the high pitched whine of a violin. lol my personal opinion is that the voice is the prettiest instrument... especially if it's a slightly disonant (sp?) chord, and they can blend well... otherwise, i'd say accoustic guitar. it can be calming and just kind of take you on a (non-drug-induced) journey, for lack of a better word. I think the violin is always absolutely gorgeous. But I'm partial to the piano as a long-time pianist.

The piano. I've always felt this way, and Regina only serves to enhance this sentiment. I'm also a sucker for the violin.

Oboe, without a doubt.
French horn is second, followed by violin (unless the violin is wailing...then it's second), cello, english horn. Piano, harp, and bassoon are beautiful too, though. |

saxophones may look like brass instruments, but they're not :P and i have to say that the most beautiful instrument is the french horn. as long as the player knows their partials haha edit: also, the contrabass saxophone / tubax . Oboe, definitely (though I may be biased...I'm an oboist myself

This is a tough question! I'm with Be like the water, people because I love hearing people's different and lovely voices. However, I also think the harp is an amazing instrument (I may be a little biased since I played it for a wee bit). Pedal harp, lever harp, they both sound delightful. I also adore listening to the piano. I have my hopes up that the man I marry will be a pianist...
