Great shopping! I used to get the train there all the time. I used to live near Bristol.

Plus a friend of mine is moving there in a few months, so I will be a regular visitor when I get back to England.

I've been to Southampton, but only to get the ferry haha
It looked nice, aside from all the coloured shipping containers.

It always rained when I went to Portsmouth, but that's to be expected in a Navy town I guess lol

Ah thats just the dockyard.
West Quay and the high street is a lot nicer. Its got some really charming features like the broken wall.

Way better for shopping. Its about 3x the size of Portsmouth.

Hey Ooop, tearose did you ever read the fabulous novel by Jennifer Donnelly, titled "The Tea Rose"? Smiler

Go here for more info The Tea Rose Wink

It was one of my most fascinating reads of 2006 and I highly recommend it, especially if you are interested in tea, adventure so many twists & turns, that you end up with twisted blood! Roll Eyes

Oh, okay. At first before I actually read the post, I thought this might be a picture of YOU, LittleVoice. I thought just for a second that you might be a bowl of roses cleverly disguising yourself as a human!

I have categorically NEVER disguised myself as a Rose! Confused

I did once dress up for A Halloween's Eve concert two years ago, where I travelled to the legendary BBC Maida Vale studios in London to see the quite wonderful Nerina Pallot! Eeker

I'm so pleased that you observed that dent in my head, which in fact is a Cunning Plan! Smiler

Most certainly rainwater does pool in there and it is then visited by my Furry Friends of the Night. Eeker

Surely you jest? Eeker

"Cushy" means "easy", "very comfortable", "simple to do" thus Bryant has a very easy ride with that job! Wink
