leonard cohen has many different versions of it, and its been covered many many times. Rufus Wainwright has the most AMAZING cover of it i have heard, but i am about to listen to reginas, so we will see. Wink

the song itself is a ladykiller, but for any guys out there who ever do solo shows, playing the buckley version (if you're confident enough for the potential comparison) is a winner.

I think this song has been the most covered song second only to the star spangled banner. I found someone on soulseek the other day that had a whole folder of just recorded (not even live) Hallelujah covers....they had like 40 of them.......and there were some I knew were missing.
.
I love this song to death...but give it a rest already i say.
