Aquarius is kind of a sad song, too. Dear someone, watching from the shadows...

This is *the* saddest of all in my opinion. it just describes utter loneliness.

Even though No One is the saddest song for me, On the radio has been getting to me lately because it makes me think of my friend. Sometimes I can't even finish it listening to it, even though I love it. I end up playing it one the piano and singing it myself lol ! Somedays used to get me all teared up when I first bought SK, too. 'I must be emo' Wink

p.s. Sorry for the terrible pop-culture(=what?) reference. That was gay hehe

Yeah I have to admit that's the best line Regina ever wrote. But I love the whole verse:

"Outside the cars are beeping out a song just in your honor, and though they do not know it all mankind are now your brothers"

I mean jeez, where will you ever hear a lyric like that?

See, the whole verse doesn't get to me, for me, it's just that part "and though they do not know it...all mankind are now your brothers"

probably the way she sings it too, her falsetto is the PRETTIEST, CLEAREST, most perfect falsetto I've EVER heard...besides the Norwegian dude from a-ha, you know! "Take on me"!

Regina and him, yep, BEST falsetto EVER!

That is so true. Whenever I hear it I melt. I more than melt. To me I see it as an actual angel is singing.

Oh Hero does it for me too! It's her falsetto! I'm tellin ya! It IS like an Angel singing (ajalaw, I couldn't have said it better myself).

But...I can't help laughing when she sings "we're goin to these meet'ns but we're not doin'any meet'n...we're trying to be faithful but we're CHEAT'n and CHEAT'n!"

It's not a funny song per-say, it sounds sad, and it's beautiful the way she sings it, but I giggle at that part, I can't help myself!

The end, ALL, all all all ALL - so beautiful <3

I still, after all of this time, have not given Hero a good listen. I made the horrible mistake of buying the songs to the bonus version of BTH separately on iTunes after having bought the first version. But it won't let me buy Hero and Bartender without buying the entire album again...

whenever i listen to Open, the heavy gasps at the end always bring up some emotion. Also certain parts in Somedays, Dust to Dust, and Field Below.

then again, there are some songs that bring a lot of emotion, but not necessarily tears. For example, One More Time with Feeling, Man of A Thousand Faces, Pound of Flesh, etc.
