"somedays" (Somedays aren't yours at all,
They come and go
As if they're someone else's days
They come and leave you behind someone else's face
And it's harsher than yours
And colder than yours)

I'd never heard that song before but I went to listen to it just now and it's AMAZING!
I love the lyrics. though i love regina's music I never really "personally relate" to any of her songs but this was one of those few where it just feels like she's singing about my life. (and experiencing that kind of feeling is always nice ^_^)

dum dum dum dum "I felt she found me letters and read each one out loud" -isn't that why we listen to others? to hear ourselves...

Blue lips - They made it past the enemy lines, just to become enslaved in the assembly lines

Ode to divorce - I know I'm alone now. I know what it tastes like

The noise - I can't hear you. I can't hear you. I can't hear you anymore.

Woolen gloves - Somedays are like woolen gloves. You feel warm, but you can't touch things properly/ Won't you forgive me know?

Hero - I'm the hero of the story. I don't need to be saved.

Field below - The whole song

Actually i don't start to cry, but this lines are just so touching...

"If you just hold in your breath 'til you come back up in full. Hold in your breath 'til you've thought it through you foolish child"

slays me every time

but then there are the "euphoric tearjerkers" that make you cry out of love and appreciation for regina's music and life itself. in this category, nothing gets me more than:

No, this is how it works
You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
And try to love the things you took
And then you take that love you made
And stick it into some
Someone else's heart
Pumping someone else's blood
And walking arm in arm
You hope it don't get harmed
But even if it does
You'll just do it all again

I don't know if someone already mentioned this one, but
"A Cooler Version" is really heartbreaking:
A cooler version of yourself
A cooler version of your dad
A crueler version in my mind
I pull away when you're inside
I pull away when you're inside
You pull away when you're inside

So young
And drunk
And young
And drunk
I lie down here until I die
I lie down here until I die
I'm so sorry for
Telling stories
I'm so young
And drunk
And young
And drunk
I didn't know it'd be so boring
I fall asleep when you're inside
I fall asleep when you're inside

So young
And drunk
And young
And drunk
I fall asleep when you're inside
I fall asleep when you're inside

(snoring)

A cooler version of myself
A cooler version of my dad
A crueler version in my mind
I pull away when you're inside
I pull away when you're inside
I pull away when you're inside
I pull away when you're inside
I pull away when you're insiiiiii-iiiiiiiiiiiide
Ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide, ide

I'm so young
And drunk
I'm so young
And drunk
I'm so young
And drunk
I'm so young
And drunk

...particularly the "I pull away when you're inside" part, how she sings it, it sounds like she's about to cry too.

~~~~~~~
God, I pity the violins
In glass coffins
They keep coughing
They've forgotten, forgotten how to sing
I never cry, but there were two times I almost cried. First when I heard Pavlov's Daughter for the first time. Not because it's sad, but because I had never heard anything better than that. It was so nice!
And the second time when I saw her playing Apres Moi. It's weird no one said it before, because the part when she's singing Russian is so beautiful and I saw so much emotions on her face, that I almost started crying.
But most of the time (99%) I'm laughing about her crazy, funny and genius music.
"I hear them say my name regin-ah, regin-ah, regin-a-ah!" - Pavlov's Daughter
"What're you screaming as if it's the end of the world? And he was, like, well it is " - Daniel Cowman
Loveology. The whole effing song. If she never makes another song again, she did her part.
I cried at "Us" once. I'd had a bad day and was already emotional, and then this lovely song came along and pushed me over the edge: not the edge of sorrow, just the edge of being able to control myself.
