Hi Regina:

If you have any cousins that still need a ticket to your show this week on Wednesday, please send me an email: dppetry@suffolk.lib.ny.us

I want to sell two extra tickets (Second tier, I115 and I116 together)since my daughters cannot attend the show (one of them will be playing violin at the Tilles Center!).

Now if Regina is all set (!!!), then I would open up my offering to all other Regina fans in the metro New York area who want to see this special benefit concert in a great small theatre with seats! To sit down and listen to Ms. Spektor live, what a concept!

See you at the show,

David

I already have my ticket but funny thing is that I work at Tilles Center and have to drive up to the concert. Small world.

I can't wait for the show.

Yes it is a very small world. I have only seen her once myself at Warsaw last year. Actually my daugther Maxine turned us on to Regina; she saw her at Town Hall last year as well. Now my son and wife will see Regina from the row four and I will be up in the high altitude seats. She is so remarkable live. I just wish she would mix up the set list a bit. My dream is for her to sing "wasteside" or "back of a truck" or something so blue it hurts...she is a great jazz/blues singer too (I hope she realizes this).

Get a good night sleep, it will be a late one tommorow night!!

David

I will look for your wife and son and say hi.

The blues stuff isn't my favorite but I wouldn't mind "back of a truck" either. I have never seen Regina live so I am very excited.

Hope the other kids have a great show at Tilles.

Hi yeh I have very high expectations for this SUNY Purchase show. She is well rested from the European tour and this is where she went to college and she is donating ALL the profits to the Music Conservatory. I have goose bumps. What a great thing for "music". My wife is on the fence about the Regina show since the Tilles show is a major event. So I might end up in the fourth row with my son, he is easy to spot with a long pony tail! So folks, anyone need THREE tickets together?

T-minus 7 hours and counting.

David

Wow, she is donating ALL the profits? That is great. I am actually a Purchase Conservatory graduate.

Maybe she will do songs from 11:11 since she wrote those songs in her Purchase days and she will feel inspired by the environment. That would be fun. I hope the pink trees in the parking lot are blossoming. It is probably too early. That was always a nice spring Purchase memory for me.

I am sure you will be able to get rid of your tickets. There will probably be students looking to buy tickets.

Awesome. The purist amongst us would have loved it. regina SOLO. No band tonight folks. I'm lousy at remembering songs and order. I'm sure someone there wrote it down. This is probably incomplete and the wrong order but....

It Aint No Cover
On the Radio
Prisoners
Small Town Moon
Better
Human of the Year
The Flowers
Baby Jesus
Poor Little Rich Boy
Bobbing for Apples
That Time
Ghost of Corporate Future
Apres Moi
The Wallet
Fidelity
Music Box
Field Below
Summer In the City
20 Years of Snow
Us
???? (EDIT: Real Love - John Lennon, can't believe I missed that)
Samson

She was in top form and very psyched to return to her college. She said it felt weird. She felt like she was going to be graded. I'd give her an A!

Only Son started. Followed by Chris Barron (lead singer from the Spin Doctors) who was very entertaining. The place erupted when he did Two Princes.

I'm sure others will correct my list and provide more details.

I'm smilin'.....

That list sounds about right to me. BTW, really adorable seeing her parents there... her mom looks just like her.

The second to last song was John Lennon's "Real Love". SOOOOOO AMAZING. She is covering it for the AI cd 'Instant Karma' which comes out in like June.

Awesome, four encores. I hope she continues to play "Real Love" I'm interested to see her approach to it.
