Definitely an interesting site/organization. There are archived talks here.

They've only released a few videos so far from this year's conference, but it sounds like they're going to keep releasing them. I imagine Regina will show up there at some point.

From the other thread andreseng linked to above, Thomas Dolby, TED's musical director, talks about Regina and her performance.

LOL, you are probably right!! But i would have been tempted because you get to hang out with the participants when you are there. Smiler

Jill Sobule seems to go every year. I hope she and Regina got to meet. I think they'd like each other!

I think they ultimately put everything up on their site.

Hundreds. Nay, thousands. It'll be like the Second Coming of Marx. Be sure to wear red.

I wonder what she sang? Probably Fidelity and Better. Who knows though? I was hoping a video would surface, but I think I've just gotta be patient!

Excerpt from: http://blog.thomasdolby.com/?p=655

Of course, TED loves it when people reveal their humanity, and she had won us all over. She played two very personal but mellow songs, then wrapped up with ‘On The Radio’, which of course many people recognised. But a song that I’d thought of as a pop song took on a whole new dimension in this context. She struck such a chord with me with these lyrics:

No, this is how it works
You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
And try to love the things you took
And then you take that love you made
And stick it into some
Someone else’s heart
Pumping someone else’s blood

Awww. That part in On the Radio always gets me right here. (I'm pointing at my heart, which you obviously can't see...)lol

She dedicated a song to Einstein?

I wonder which one...
