Not to rub it in but my personal highlight was when I handed reg a bouquet of red carnations as she came back out for the encore. She looked me in the eyes and said "Thank you soooooooo much". Probably sounds silly but that 5 seconds felt really good. Was definetly worth all the looks I got when I walked in with them!

No way that sounds silly. How the hell do you bring roses into something like this, though? I see people handing them over, but I don't see people holding them during the show. Congrats.

I had carnations but I went right through the same door we all go through. It felt like walking through a gauntlet with the looks i got. But the payoff was more than worth it.

She should do her research before writing. Did you notice she called BTH regina's first album? She also called Good Morning America, Good Day New York. Unless there are plans, that I've yet to hear about, for her to make an appearance on FOX too???

"Good Day New York" is a local news show on channel 5 (Fox) in NYC.

Thanks dicey. I realized that. My point was reg isn't scheduled to do that show. This writer got Good Morning America and Good Day NY mixed up and called Begin To Hope reg's first album.

Good point! I searched "Good Day's" web site and there was no mention of Regina anywhere. Touché.

How was your sons show?

Did you make the Purchase show? If so, where were your seats?

How nice of you to ask. My son's show at Carnegie Hall was wonderful. There were a dozen choruses from around the US, half performing in part 1 and the rest after the intermission. The bill was the New England Symphonic Ensemble and Conductor John Rutter, playing his compositions. They tried to ban cameras but flashes went off all over the place.

And yes, my younger son and I made it to Purchase. It was everything I'd hoped it would be. I'm not sure my 14-year-old is a huge fan but he seemed to enjoy the show. The "piss" remark made me sit up straight!
