I restored the entire show and it can be downloaded here. i would like some feedback on what you think about this. i think this is the oldest regina recording available

before you do too much, are you working with just the mp3 files? srg or whomever may have flacs or wavs or whatever original files they came from.

i don't mean to sound presumptuous, but... ...perhaps, instead of cleaning up songs on a show by show basis, you would create a new, cleaned up version of the complete spektography. i know some sensationally spectacular human being created a complete spektography for everyone a long time ago, but you could make one with the songs that have been recorded live since then and exchange versions of songs on the old one for different versions that have better fidelity (or just clean up some of the older ones). i'm sure there are many brumstixers (including me) who would help you out by getting you the tracks you don't have, or offering an opinion on which live performances to use. i have a feeling this would be even more appreciated than cleaning up a bunch of individual concerts. that being said, i know this would be an ENORMOUS undertaking. it's just a suggestion.  ________________________________________________ Regina Spektor, Amanda Palmer, Lon Chaney Jr., Holden Caulfield, Woody Allen, Willie Mays, Myrna Loy, The Marx Brothers = COOL PEOPLE |

hm. If you guys want this to happen I really think you should talk to gavin who owns the spektography channel. I suppose you mean the youtube one... (it wasn't that long ago actually. last year) If you want to clean up recordings and improve the spektography I suggest you send him the cleaned-up versions so he can exchange the ones that are up for now. and P.S. he has added the new songs as well. ----- "Now, (in the event of emergency), please know that this was written late at night. Thought you were talking about the youtube channel named spektography that gavin is the owner of. I didn't know where to post this, but I'll try it here. I really much would like this recording of Consequence of Sounds cleaned up. (it's right after fidelity) It's the same performance as this one . And it's my favorite live performance of it. The second one, with quite good quality cuts off, sadly...
