I went to Borders today, it's a book, music, and DVD store. They had a GIANT poster for "Far"! AND! They played Man of a Thousand Faces and Dance Anthem of the 80s!!!

I had a wonderful Regina-filled day. Smiler

Have you asked if you can have the poster after they take it down? Cause I've been wandering around music shops hoping to find a poster and then "bribe" the shopkeeper to reserve it for me Wink But no luck so far, so don't let the opportunity slip!

This store is over 45 minutes away, otherwise, I would have. I actually thought about it after I got home. I was like "DAMN! I should have asked for that poster!"

Do they really let people buy the posters off them once they're done with them?

EDIT: Just for the record, I think I should point out that they were almost sold-out of "Far". Just one copy was left on the shelf! Yay! I didn't buy it though, cause I already had it. But I was tempted to buy it again, cause I saw the poster and was filled with the Regina Spirit! (Get? Holy Spirit, Regina Spirit? Anyone? At all? No? Oh well.)

They don't let you buy it. They sometimes let you have it for free when they'd otherwise throw it away. Many shops however claim that the posters and promo stuff has to be sent back to the promoter Frowner

I just went to Border's and I didn't see any Regina poster. Frowner
They didn't even have far; just a few copies of Soviet Kitsch.
I did, however get the new Rolling Stone with Regina in it. Smiler

I only know about it because someone posted about it in another thread somewhere. There's a full page (one side) article in the current Rolling Stone, the one with the Jonas Brothers on the cover (ew). I can post a picture if you want. Smiler
And what's so crazy about them having SK? It's not out of print or anything.

If you want to find the original picture in the article, I'm pretty sure it's in the pictures thread.

When I was in Borders a full week after the release date, the ENTIRE ALBUM WAS PLAYING IN A LOOP!
