For me - "Genius Next Door". Just epic, moving, wondrous. I'll take it over the live version.

for songs that have been performed live before, Genius Next Door or Dance Anthem of the 80's. I didn't really expect to like GND, as it was never an uber-fave of mine, but I really like what she's done here. and Dance Anthem is just good fun Smiler

for brand new songs, I'd say Machine or Eet.

Very, very hard. This album has really grown on me.
I can't answer, it's too soon.

Of course I'm torn between GND and Man of a 1000 Faces. Both are equally wondrous.

Yeah that's a good way to look at the album, between New Song/Old Song.

Who thinks "Two Birds" is Beatle-y?

Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

it is a little beatley i s'pose

new song: riot gear (based on the Lrec, if its produced awfully (which i doubt it will be) then this might change)
old song: human of the year.

Edit: Hi my name is karl (james) and i'm a parenthaholic

The horn reminds me a bit of the one on "Mother Nature's Son".

I think my favourite track might be Genius Next Door.

(after a week of restless listening that is)

Ahh, this is hard. I can't decide. This was my first reaction:
old - blue lips
new - machine

It'd by easy to pick my favourite on previous albums, but Far? Phew, love it all equally.

Honestly, all of them. I don't mean to be "that guy..." But I really adore every second of this album. Others have commented on how after each song its a challenge to allow yourself to move on to the next one, and that's exactly how I feel.

But if I had to pick, probably Eet. Or Machine. Or Human of the Year.
