I'm currently trying to pitch to Regina's management to be contracted to make her next video. I made a video treatment for the song, Folding Chair. It's merely a mock up, a concept, bare bones, but it conveys an idea, a vision. Click the link, if you like it, give it 5 and leave a nice comment. Who knows? It might become a real video some day. I must say, I had very mixed feelings when I first watched it, but after watching the Treatment Video, I was mostly sold on the idea (not that it really matters if you sell me
 ). I'm not sure if I personally like the sixties beachwear idea, but I think, if done right, it could work really well with the song.I also really liked the J-power segment, I think it fits exceptionally well! ____________________________________ Come on and say you're sorry, real sorry, for the trouble that you've caused. i really do hope they let you do this, it appears that you have worked very hard and put a lot of effort into this. Personally, I am sold. It is a great idea. Good Luck Adam!

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a Regina music video with anyone other than herself in it [well... not counting either official On The Radio videos...].

i was going to make the same comment, but really, it seems that the only regina-only videos are the ones with Adria Petty.. so i'm not sure that it's safe to assume that this is the preferrence. i assumed that regina wouldn't want dancers and other people, but there's a guy in the Fidelity video, as well as the non-regina reginas in the second better vid.. this is an interresting concept, Adam! i'd never really thought much about a folding chair video.. i like how you want to make the vid so relevant to the lyrics! bravo on that! good luck! She won't make a sound, alone in this fight with herself and the fears whispering if she stands, she'll fall down. I really like your idea. That's kinda how I imagined it. Minus the dancers. But that makes sense and it would be really fun. I hope they pick you if this becomes a single!
and I would also be very disappointed if the dolphin noises were taken out...

Very nice job, Adam! I like the concept very much, I like the dancers. I think a kind of retro Beach Blanket Bingo thing(God I'm aging myself there!) is a great idea, only Spektorized, of course.
The only reason I don't think Regina would do the beach thing would be because, I can't imagine her getting into a bathing suit, never mind dancing around in one! Lord knows I'd die a happy man if she did. But, alas she seems too shy and has always been remiss to "cash in," on her looks. I betcha' her record label would love the idea though!! I betcha' they've been trying for years to get her to do something along those lines. |
