Everyone knows about the KT event approx 70 million years ago that wiped out he dinosaurs, but did you know about the PT(Permian-Triassic) event that wiped out 95% of marine species and 70% of land-species in a couple million years from 253mya to 251mya? Pretty astonishing to find out things like that. Amazing to even look at the time spans involved. Human beings have been only here for a tiny blip of geologic time. We make a big deal out just a few years!
